Eye emergencies

Our eye doctors are therapeutically certified to treat eye diseases with the most up-to-date prescription medications available. Most ocular emergencies can be managed very effectively with prompt treatment. For this reason, medical eye emergencies are given the highest priority for evaluation and treatment. You will not have to wait days for an appointment. A partial list of medical eye emergencies and conditions that we treat are as follows:


  • Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
  • Ocular Allergies (Lid/Eye Swelling)
  • Painful Eye
  • Foreign Body in the Eye
  • Chemical Burns
  • Double Vision
  • Corneal Abrasions
  • Subconjunctival Hemorrhages 
  • Sudden Flashes of Light
  • Sudden Increase or Changes to Floaters
  • Sudden Loss of Vision

Office hours tentatively changed due to COVID-19

In order to protect the health and safety of our patients, staff and doctors:

  • Everyone must wear a mask upon entering the office. We are happy to provide you with a mask to wear or you may reschedule your appointment
  • Please maintain a social distance of 6 ft between you and other patients
  • Anyone not feeling well, coughing, having shortness of breath or sneezing will be sent home and rescheduled
  • Only the patient is allowed in the exam room with the doctor. Only one parent/caregiver is allowed in the exam room if the patient is a minor/requires assistance.
