About us

Jeffrey Dang O.D.

Dr. Jeffrey Dang grew up in Fountain Valley, California and completed his undergraduate at the University of California Irvine with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Optometry degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.

During his last year in optometry school, he completed his ocular disease training and externships at diverse modes of practices with Tayani Eye Institute in Mission Viejo and the Villages VA Clinic in Florida. He gained experience in diagnosis and treatment of general eye diseases which include glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, diabetic eye disease and as well as emergency foreign body removals.

After graduating from optometry school, Dr. Dang worked in an ophthalmology practice for two years; providing services in primary eye care, ocular disease management and co-management of cataract surgeries.

In his spare time Dr. Dang enjoys staying active by working out, playing basketball and rock climbing.

Joseph Powell O.D.

Dr. Powell graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1984 and received his Fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry in 1986. He has been in private practice in Huntington Beach for over 30 years! Dr. Powell knows that providing an excellent examination is sometimes not enough. It is essential that a high level of communication and understanding exist between the patient and the doctor. By accomplishing this, the patient can have a real sense of satisfaction that his/her needs are being met.
